About Us
WHO WE ARE
Tajalla for Music and Arts
Tajalla for Music and Arts is a cultural organization dedicated to creating innovative and unconventional spaces that bring art closer to people, wherever they may be—whether in the streets of cities, the neighbourhoods of villages, or the heart of the desert. Established in 2012, Tajalla is the product of extensive professional experience, vision, and ambition in the cultural sector in Jordan and the Arab region.
Tajalla firmly believes in the transformative power of art within communities, as it is through art alone that societies can remain healthy, harmonious, and free from violence and extremism. Tajalla views art as an essential foundation of human existence and the only universal language that connects people across time and space.
Our Mission
Tajalla aims to preserve and document musical heritage and cultural traditions by strengthening the bond between people and the arts. It serves as a hub for celebrating art and culture through clear, innovative approaches that design inclusive spaces reflective of our humanity and local heritage.
We believe that authentic thinking is our compass and that art, in all its forms, is the way forward.
Our Vission
Tajalla aspires to become a leading center for unconventional artistic pathways, representing the authentic cultural identity of the Levant region.
Through the implementation of our projects in arts and cultural heritage, we strive to redefine the role of arts in shaping our place in a world that often prioritizes ownership over knowledge, wealth over learning, and power over art.
Objectives
1. Revive communities’ active role in cultural and artistic engagement by restoring tangible and intangible cultural heritage and traditional legacies.
2. Develop and activate new artistic pathways in partnership with authentic local communities across all regions of Jordan.
3. Promote and document cultural diversity across Jordan’s cities and governorates, from the north to the south.
